Description of true norwegian black metal music
"True Norwegian black metal" (TNBM) is a subgenre of black metal that originated in Norway in the early 1990s. It is characterized by its raw, lo-fi production, fast tempos, harsh and raspy vocals, and lyrics that often deal with satanism, anti-Christianity, and other controversial themes. TNBM is associated with a number of infamous events in the early 1990s, including church burnings and murders committed by members of the scene. Today, TNBM is still an influential and controversial subgenre within the wider black metal community.
